Heard you've been down for the longest time

for so long that you forgot what's it like to be fine

Lately, you've been losing sleep

standing on the edge to take a leap

With every morning you try to forget

but still, you sleep with regrets

Sometimes you overthink

you ain't sober though you never drink

With every heart that's been borrowed

But still, the alcohol in your hand

As they saw you in the morning light

you were guarded by your armour in knight

But when the candles burning low

they don't know where you go

All you wanted is to write

about the scenes in black and white

But all you got was a show

portraying you as a hero

Heard you've been waiting for someone to call

for so long that you forgot that you had it all

Lately, you’ve been fighting alone

for someone to walk you home

With every hope that’s left behind

but still the home you couldn’t find

Some things you’ll never know

you’re cold although it never snows

With every jumper that you wear

But still, it snows nowhere

As they saw you igniting the spark

You were the burning star in the dark

But when the candles glow

they don’t know what’s below

All you wanted is someone to drive the car

so, you could play the guitar

But all you got was a shadow

Hoping for a better tomorrow

They were the storm, and you were the flower

bashed you till the end of November

Look how far you’ve come despite the weather

Won’t you survive another hour?

Why don’t you forgive for all the time that you outlived?

Maybe for this year's Thanksgiving!
